Geoff Styba, Co-founder

Born and raised on the Island, Geoff began working on commercial fishing boats at age 13. At 19 he decided to try a new adventure, and began working in drainage and waterproofing, learning the tricks of the trade over the next decade. In 2009 he launched Raintek with Trevor Gardiner, a high school friend.

Geoff lives in Victoria with his fiancé and 5-year old golden retriever Mylo, who he brings to work with him every day. Mylo is one of the reasons Geoff is passionate about supporting charities like the SPCA, WSPA and VWB. Outside of work he leads an active lifestyle, snowmobiling, kayaking and hiking with Mylo his trusted K9 companion.

Trevor Gardiner, Co-founder

Trevor was born in Victoria but moved to Alberta at a young age. After high school, he worked in the trades, then transitioned to drainage work in 2001. Trevor has experience in every facet of the business – from troubleshooting foundations to cleaning drains to digging trenches to site and customer management.

Trevor is married to his high school sweetheart, and is planning on starting his own family soon. Like Geoff, Trevor and his dog Myka are inseparable. In his free time, Trevor enjoys playing golf and spending time with the family.
