1) Clean & flush your gutters & downspouts.

4) Shutting off exterior water supplies

It’s an easy thing to forget about, but exterior hoses and taps that are left on (with a supply running to them) can be susceptible to freezing during the cold winter months. One of our employees is adopting Buddy, and he will join the Raintek crew on our many job sites. Veterinarians estimate it will take several months after surgery for Buddy to make a full recovery. More about Buddy’s story:
The dog is afraid of loud noises and a month ago, when blasting rattled his Victoria home, Buddy plummeted out of a third-storey window and landed on concrete below. His injuries include ruptured tendons and ligaments that require surgery.

On Saturday, Buddy was surrendered to the SPCA, and shelter manager Penny Stone is hoping the community will help raise $5,000 for Buddy’s surgery and then help find him a good home.

With the launch of our new website, we are also bringing to light something that we have been doing since the inception of Raintek.
